An otherwise agreeable course that is rhythmically challenged due to #7 through #13 being all short holes - including a pair of back to back par 3s. While #14 is a long par 4, it is also very tight, so, with #15 being another par 3, the next chance to freely swing a driver comes at #16. Even though some of the hole designs in that stretch are actually quite interesting, at the end of the day it means restriction and conservative play for 9 straight holes.
The site is generally quite cute, a creek flows through the entire property and comes into play on many holes. The terrain is by no means flat, but very walkable and involves little blindness. The one exception being #6, where the club recommends a fore-caddie. So for good iron players this one is worth a crack due to the many birdie opportunities in the middle of the round. Grippers and rippers may suffer, unless they're into peaceful scenery, which this course certainly delivers.
