This course is a haven of peace just a few miles from the busy tourist areas of Mallorca. It fits 18 mostly short holes into the foothills of the Tramuntana mountain range. So it's not a venue for big hitters, but more for those into beautiful vistas and mountain golf. Although even those golfers do not want to play short par 4s all day long.
An additional setback are a few passages that are really tough to walk, so most players are in carts. The architecture is relatively standard fare and for good iron players Son Termens may actually be quite easy. However, the value of a largely natural setting with no residential units or other eyesores is not to be underestimated in Mallorca. It may not be the last word in routing, but it is good for the soul.
