This is a huge, commercial 45 hole complex with two full length courses and a hotel on surprisingly undulated terrain. The name is Dutch for "Brunssum Heath", which is a protected area of astounding natural beauty next to the course.
Unfortunately this does not mean that the holes are routed through heathland. In fact, the sandy areas are cleanly fenced off and all the golf course gets is a rather paltry clay-based soil.
The design is okay-ish, although less would have been more in this case. Losing a couple of holes and making the rest wider would create more options and ultimately a better course. Still, the design (if not the atmosphere) is of the old-fashioned parkland type, so they got that going for them.
