Somewhat quirky due to Alpinisations galore. Good variety considering the flat and relatively cramped site. Some of the short Par 4s are too similar, but the set of Par 3s is nice and two of the par 5s (#2 and #10) are pretty innovative. Lack of scale is the biggest drawback architecturally. The name of the course comes from the many water hazards, but the Alpinisations are often much harder to avoid and hell to play out of.
Noise sensitive players will suffer due to very low flying planes every few minutes (the very busy Frankfurt airport is nearby). It is possible to score very low here, but more often players will blow up and mutter that this is not a proper golf course. It certainly isn't the place for bomb & gouge, but it definitely is target golf. No ground game, but the holes are sufficiently interesting.
There is another shortish 9 hole course called "Happy Luck" (by Christoph Städler) and a 9 hole pitch and putt by the clubhouse, both quite playable, the former a bit wet though.
