A quirky course that doesn't quite come together, as there is a somewhat eclectic mix of design styles. Using two different architects probably didn't help, the layout just doesn't establish a consistent rhythm. The location is lovely, though: right in and around the foothills, distant sea views included and not too many residential developments either.

The round begins with a nice loop through the foothills ending, rather strangely, with a couple of American style water features. The back nine is not a loop, instead the adjacent fairways are going back and forth and are "protected" by internal out of bounds. Still, it's good resort golf, not too difficult, quite scenic and walkable.
