This is a rural and down-to-earth golf club situated in the rolling country bordering the Black Forest region. The hallmark of the 18 hole Rebland course is the copious bunkering, which asserts itself time and again throughout the round. It's not that the sand traps are particularly threatening or hard to play out of, rather it is their number and placement, which will allow hardly any player to avoid them for 18 holes.

After a recent rerouting, caused by the clubhouse being built, the course now has a much better flow. The most exciting holes on the undulated part of the site now come early and the flatter, but also longer holes offer a welcome breather on the back 9. And the final four holes have great variety again and work extremely well as match deciders.

The setting is very peaceful, so despite a lack of especially wide views, a round here is quite enjoyable. Some of the best weather in all of Germany doesn't hurt either and conditioning has improved markedly. This has turned into a really good course.
